Ring Fund Launch Webinar

Rob Adams, Managing Partner of Alumni Ventures’ Ring Ventures, opened the doors on the next vintage of Ring Ventures — walking Texas A&M-connected investors through how to get in early on a diversified, network-powered venture portfolio built around the Aggie community.
See video policy below.
In this session, Rob introduced the new Ring Ventures fund — covering the fund’s investment thesis, how the team constructs a diversified portfolio of roughly 20–30 startups, and where Ring sits within the broader Alumni Ventures platform. He walked through the sourcing approach, the kinds of companies the team seeks to back, and what makes the Texas A&M network a real edge in deal flow.
The conversation went beyond fund mechanics to share how Ring Ventures co-invests alongside established lead VCs, the role of the Aggie community in surfacing high-quality opportunities, and what investors can expect over the life of the fund. Rob drew on more than three decades of venture experience — including running multiple institutional funds and founding or financing more than 200 companies — to ground the discussion in what actually drives venture outcomes.
Whether attendees were experienced venture investors or evaluating the asset class for the first time, this session offered a clear path into Ring Ventures and the broader AV platform. Watch the recording to hear directly from Rob about the fund’s strategy, timing, and how to take part before the current vintage closes.
