Ron has spent his career in a variety of entrepreneurial, leadership, and business development roles. He has been an angel investor and advisor to over a dozen technology startups. Ron was Co-Founder and CEO of TravelPerk, a VC-backed travel management platform that is now a “unicorn” company with thousands of employees and customers across the globe. Prior to TravelPerk, he started the B2B division of Booking.com and before that was a consultant with McKinsey & Co. Ron began his career at Lycos, one of the web’s pioneer search engine and web portals. Ron graduated from Babson College and received his MBA from Harvard Business School. He is the author of the impact-focused Higher Purpose Venture Capital Blog.

Venture Analyst, Seed Fund

Jason contributes his expertise in financial analysis, sales development, and market research to the Seed team. Previously, Jason served as an Analyst at Yard Ventures, specializing in sourcing and conducting due diligence for investment opportunities across various stages. His professional background is primarily in sales, with significant experience in real estate and tech sales. Jason is also an entrepreneur, having co-founded Hinzu, a one-stop promotional outlet offering development, design, marketing, and startup advice services to artists. Jason is an alumnus of Babson College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on entrepreneurship and finance.

Plant based Engineer, Stunt & Special Effects Coordinator, science keynote speaker, science author, trial consultant, expert witness, scuba, firearms, rigging, pyrotechnic & explosives expert. My “Science in the Movies” show has been presented live to over 2,000,000 kids worldwide. In the course of 30 years of effects engineering including pyro for Tom Cruise, I’ve developed a new method of controlling and suppressing forest fires, PyroNemesis. I’m constantly developing new science based content for TV, focussed on inspiring a healthy next generation of scientists who live, like I do, on a diet of curiosity, inquiry and discovery.

Colleen has nearly 20 years of experience as a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and she knows the critical cornerstones for a successful healthcare venture. As a serial entrepreneur in mental health, Colleen is passionate not only making a difference but also creating thriving, scalable solutions.

Continuing her passion to impact the world through mental health, Colleen co-founded and now leads Alli Connect Inc as the CEO. Alli’s SaaS technology streamlines patient to provider referrals, facilitates patient engagement and improves clinical outcomes.

Ron Kerbs

CEO, Kidas

Ron Kerbs is the founder and CEO of Kidas. He holds an MSc in information systems engineering and machine learning from Technion, Israel Institute of technology, an MBA from the Wharton school of business and an MA in global studies from the Lauder Institute at the University of Pennsylvania. Ron was an early-venture capital investor, and prior to that, he was an R & D manager who led teams to create big data and machine learning-based solutions for national security.
